Theatre Projects

PaperSpace is a unique theatre company committed to creating fresh and exciting theatre for young people. Unlike conventional theatre companies we do not ask our audience to sit in silence as they watch a tale unfold, instead we design and create complete environments into which the children can venture. Once inside these environments the children are able to explore the spaces through sight, touch, sound, smell and taste, guided as they do so by the characters in each story.

We believe in making theatre that encourages children to learn in a highly sensory way, creating a world of make-believe, inside which anything can happen and from which our young audience’s imaginations can soar.
