Coalville Lantern Procession – 2005/6

Hundreds of illuminated paper lanterns snaking through the streets of Coalville: a festival of colour, with music, dance and puppetry on a grand scale. For the past two years we have worked alongside the community of Coalville to create willow lanterns for their annual lantern procession. This year the procession culminated at Snibston Discovery Park, where a fairground of giant lanterns created a flaming sculpture park.
